JOANE CARDINAL-SCHUBERT'S FLAGSHIP DESIGN WAS MEANT TO HIGHLIGHT TECHNOLOGY AND AN OPEN LEARNING FOCUS. DBI SYSTEMS PROVIDED AND INSTALLED A TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED A/V SYSTEM TO AUGMENT THE HIGH-TECH NATURE OF THE SCHOOL.

The implementation of tablet control, Bluetooth audio and wireless microphones means zero setup is required in all the spaces allowing for smooth operation without support. For this project, the design’s main premise was to provide the users friendly and intuitive systems while maximizing the flexibility and power of the system. We worked extensively with the CBE’s IT staff to ensure all systems were secure and approved for use in their ecosystem.

Challenge

Our main challenge on this project was to meet the vast variety of functions for the multiple spaces throughout the school, while allowing for the combination and separation of all rooms without the need for dedicated A/V staff.

Solution

We provided A/V solutions for the gymnasium, common areas and fitness area as well as digital signage systems throughout the school. All systems are capable of being used in a wide array of applications and/or situations. Our networked solution allows for staff to stream from any device to any display or projector in the system.

Since the installation was completed, all systems are utilized every day to address the open concept learning environment and large group activities. The systems have become a tool for educators instead of a challenge to overcome. Since completing the project in January of 2019, dbi Systems has provided industry leading training and support, as well as additional expansions to address growing needs.
